
The fetal echocardiography course is aimed at cardiologists, sonographers, fetal medicine consultants and subspecialty trainees, paediatricians with interest in cardiology and neonatologists.
It will cover a comprehensive and systematic approach to the normal fetal anatomy as well as assessment of cardiac function and rhythm.
We will review the normal fetal cardiac anatomy, the 3-vessel view and normal fetal Doppler.
There will be several presentations about the diagnosis of major cardiac abnormalities such as septal defects, left and right heart obstructive lesions, transposition of the great arteries and aortic arch abnormalities.
At the end of the course we will have an interactive session with rare and challenging cases and a Quiz.
The online teaching sessions will allow you to communicate with the teacher as if you were attending a face-to-face conference.
This course is interactive and we will encourage discussions and participation of the delegates with the faculty and also with other colleagues.
The distance learning modality is intuitive and user-friendly. You will not be required to have any expertise in information technology (IT).

The faculty will include the fetal cardiology team from Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (UK) and from Hospital de São João (Portugal).
